Q. What is FormEdge?
FormEdge is a no-code service for building and publishing contact, booking, survey and application forms, plus the one-page websites and landing pages that go with them. Pick a template, describe what you need, and AI drafts the form or page for you. Notifications, spam protection and custom domains are built in.
Q. Can I use FormEdge outside Japan?
Yes. FormEdge is operated from Japan, but the dashboard, public forms, pages, notification emails and the API / MCP documentation are all available in English. Plans are billed in Japanese yen (JPY) by credit card, and your card issuer converts the amount to your local currency.
Q. Can I build forms and pages in English?
Yes. You write the content in any language. System text on public forms (buttons, validation errors, the completion screen) can be set to English, Japanese, or follow the visitor's browser language. English page templates are available, and auto-reply emails use the language of your workspace.
Q. Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan lets you publish one form and one page, receive up to 100 submissions a month with email notifications, and includes bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). No credit card is required to sign up.
Q. Can AI agents such as Claude or ChatGPT create forms for me?
Yes. FormEdge provides a remote MCP server, so AI agents can create, edit and publish forms and pages from natural language. A REST External API is also available for reading submissions and integrating with your own systems. API / MCP access is included from the Starter plan.
Q. How do I get notified about new submissions?
Submissions can be sent to email, Slack and LINE in real time. On the Pro plan you can also send a webhook to your CRM or internal tools. You can register several destinations per form.
Q. How do you handle spam and bots?
Every plan includes Cloudflare Turnstile bot detection, which blocks automated submissions without showing image CAPTCHAs to real visitors. Duplicate-submission detection and IP restrictions are available on paid plans.
Q. Can I publish on my own domain?
Yes. From the Starter plan you can publish forms and pages on a custom domain. If you don't have one yet, you can also purchase a .com or .net domain from the dashboard and use it without any DNS setup.
Q. What does the public URL look like?
Your pages and forms are published under https://<workspace>.formedge.app/… where <workspace> is a name you choose when you sign up. A page can also be assigned to the root of that subdomain (or of your custom domain) so you can share a short URL.
Q. Can my team work together?
Yes. Invite members to your workspace and assign roles. One account can belong to several workspaces and switch between them from the menu.
